Founded in 2003, Equine Guelph is operated in conjunction with the University of Guelph. According to their website, "Equine Guelph focuses on five interrelated areas: research, education and training, performance, healthcare and industry development."

Equine Guelph hopes that the results of the survey will aid them in improving and developing their equine education programs, understanding which areas of research will most benefit the horse industry, improving the communication of information to the horse industry, and identifying different trends in the horse industry.

At the end of the survey, respondents will be able to register to win a gift certificate good towards a free online equine course from Equine Guelph
