Law enforcement authorities in Montana are seeking the public’s help in identifying whoever is responsible for shooting two horses in Gallatin County in September.

Law enforcement authorities in Montana are seeking the public's help in identifying whoever is responsible for shooting two horses in Gallatin County in September.

According to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Department, the horses were discovered near a roadside in Gallatin County. Both animals had sustained gunshot wounds. One was found dead at the scene, the other was euthanized at the scene.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Department and the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Department are investigating the incident.
