A large crowd of youth and youth group leaders are expected to attend the 2009 Youth Extravaganza, a weekend of equine activities and attractions. The Youth Extravaganza, co-hosted by the Manitoba 4-H Program and North American Equine Ranching Information Council (NAERIC), weill be held on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at the Westoba Agricultural Centre of Excellence Arena in Brandon, Manitoba, during the Wheat City Stampede.
 
Youth and youth group leaders in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, North Western Ontario, and North Dakota are invited to attend this complimentary horsemanship skills clinic featuring Jackie Johnson, a trick rider, trainer, and stuntwoman, who will demonstrate her “Step-by-Step Trick Training” Program, from 1:30-4:00 p.m.

There will also be a Safe Horse Handling Workshop from 9:30 a.m. until noon in Barn 3 at the Keystone Centre, featuring  Manitoba clinician Robert Moshenko. This workshop is presented by Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives
