Cross Country International has announced that its Louire Valley Chateau-to-Chateau Trail Ride has been selected as one of National Geographic Traveler‘s “50 Tours of a Lifetime.” The ride is described in the magazine’s October issue, which features the tours that provide the highest quality experiences in the most interesting locations.

“Enjoy wonderful Selle Francais horses as you ride through deep forests, vineyards, and magnificent sunflower fields, all on the manicured trails leading to your next chateau,” said the CCI announcement. “This trail ride truly introduces you to the historic region of the Parisian wealthy of the past, as you visit local vineyards and stay in pre-French Revolution chateaux.”
