Firefighters Rescue Trapped Filly

A trapped filly was freed from under a truck yesterday (July 16), according to BBC News. The filly slipped on a metal grille in the street and slid under the parked vehicle as she fell. Firefighters pulled the horse to safety. A veterinarian and representatives from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals checked the filly's condition when she returned to her feet.

The filly suffered no injuries and was expected to return to her paddock later that day.
