Scholarships Granted

Two high school seniors with a dedication to the well-being of horses have been named Year 2000 Scholarship recipients by Horse Daily Planner Publications. First place winner Kari Fisher of Rockwell, N.C., received $1,200 toward her tuition at the University of North Carolina, where she will study this fall. Kim Elsner, of Pine, Colo., placed second overall and first in the Essay and Commitment to Horse Health section. She was awarded $500 toward her tuition at Colorado State University.
