Have you ever experienced one of those moments where, try as you might, you’re just not clicking with your horse on a particular issue? Who do you turn to?

In last week’s poll, we asked our readers who they turn to for help when faced with a horse training issue. More than 675 people responded and we’ve tallied the results!

Of the 685 respondents, 277 (40%) said they would turn to their regular trainer, riding instructor, or coach when faced with a training issue they couldn’t resolve. Another 154 people (22%) said they would figure out a solution themselves, and 138 respondents (20%) said they turn to a trusted friend who’s experienced with horses. Some 49 individuals (7%) said they would turn to clinicians for help, and 16 people (2%) indicated they’d seek the help of a certified animal or veterinary behaviorist. The remaining 51 respondents (7%) said they’d turn to other sources not mentioned.
