Solitude IGR “Your flies are down” campaign clinches the prize


For the second year in a row, Brown + Associates and Pfizer Inc were the specialty winners of the National Agri-Marketing Association’s (NAMA) top honor.


During a ceremony held on April 19 in Kansas City, Mo., the National Agri-Marketing Association bestowed its Best Of Show Award upon the 2005 Solitude IGR introductory ad campaign created by Brown + Associates for Pfizer. This is no small accomplishment. Brown + Associates is a “virtual” agency in direct competition for work with large, well-regarded advertising agencies, so to win the Best of Show award last year was an unexpected coup. But to win the Best of Show award for the second year in a row truly demonstrates that the value of good ad work is not found in the size of the agency, but in the size of the idea. 


The Best of Show winning work was the result of an introductory campaign for Pfizer’s Solitude IGR equine feed-through fly preventive. The campaign featured a variety of elements that leveraged a humorous central message: “Your flies are down
