2000 TPF Applied Equine Medical Research Grants


The Board of Directors of the Oak Tree Racing Association recently announced that they will renew funding for The Piedra Foundation’s Applied Equine Medical Research Grants which began in 1997.


The grants, awarded to private equine practices and hospitals with qualifying internship programs, facilitate the publishing of progressive new clinical work performed in these exceptional practices while supporting the continued training of recent veterinary graduates.


The 2000 grants will be awarded in the fall of 2000. Interested parties should consult the Foundation’s web page, https://www.piedra.org, for grant details and criteria.


The Piedra Foundation is seeking additional sources of funding for these grants to expand this very successful program. If you or your organization would be interested in exploring how you might help bring about the development of exciting new equine medical techniques or treatments which can affect the well being of countless horses contact TPF. Support of this program will make an meaningful and enduring impact on equine health care and the professional development of recently graduated equine veterinarians
