Cindy Rullman, director of marketing at the Kentucky Horse Park, contacted The Horse in early August to tell us about John Henry and his walks around the park. The 32-year-old horse–whose condition we had been holding our breath over earlier in the year, wondering if he’d make it to his own birthday party–was blossoming, and did we want to come out and do a story? You bet we did.
