Q. At what age is it safe to introduce a foal to the herd? And is there a recommended way for introducing the foal and mare to the herd (one horse at a time, dominant horse first/last, geldings first, mares first, etc.)?

Q. Q: My mare foaled recently and the colt's testicles and umbilicus are set way back between the hind legs, more than normal. The veterinarian checked him and said he can't feel the penis. He has not seen anything like this before. Any ideas where I could find information about this condition?

Q. Q: Can you address off-label use of the rabies vaccine in late-term broodmares? My therio vet won't give it because it's off-label usage. So I arrange for another vet in her practice to vaccinate my late-term mares.
