it's more like "all of the above"

Colic caused by the stress of the haul and all the different things a horse is not used to...

6/13/2010 10:38:56 PM

Actually all of the above

6/13/2010 10:40:47 AM

all of the above

6/11/2010 11:01:19 PM

My mare is ok traveling, it is exposure to other less healthy horses I worry about.

6/11/2010 10:43:20 PM

Other drivers can be very inconsiderate. Do not understand that a rig does not stop quickly.

6/11/2010 3:37:58 PM

my horses are spolied and are not afraid and other horses I find are not as friendly

6/10/2010 7:57:51 PM

mostly just in general stress/discomfort.

6/10/2010 7:33:57 PM

My guys are great travelers. Injury due to traffic accident.

6/10/2010 3:00:58 PM

An accident

6/10/2010 8:35:21 AM

other drivers!

6/10/2010 8:26:35 AM

ALL of the above!!!

6/10/2010 1:15:49 AM

my horse hates showing

6/10/2010 12:03:14 AM

When dealing with a hyper thoroughbred mare!

6/9/2010 5:53:55 PM

He is only hauled a few times yrly & need to work on trailer loading/unloading.

6/9/2010 5:41:41 PM

Other drivers! I treat every 1 else on road like an enemy fighter pilot, they're all out to kill me

6/9/2010 4:18:25 PM

My horses don't travel. They stay at home.

6/9/2010 3:04:36 PM

ie potential diseases etc

6/9/2010 2:17:54 PM

particularly from a trailer incident - trailer safety is paramount

6/9/2010 1:25:48 PM

Concerned about contact with horses carrying disease; health papers are no good if trailers checked

6/9/2010 11:19:29 AM

Good traveler, but can't predict injury.

6/9/2010 11:17:56 AM

stress can cause a multitude of other problems

6/9/2010 10:54:50 AM

My horse jumped half way over the chest bar on her last trip.

6/9/2010 9:46:55 AM

6/9/2010 9:08:28 AM

always relieved to arrive safely.

6/9/2010 8:35:56 AM

my horses dont travel much so stress & all assoc. problems

6/9/2010 5:52:45 AM

My trailer has already been rear-ended on the interstate. M was stunned, not injured,

6/9/2010 2:14:24 AM

especially in heat of Texas

6/9/2010 12:30:15 AM

I worry about poor drivers looking at the horsies

6/8/2010 11:33:52 PM

It's a toss up between Colic and injury

6/8/2010 11:30:41 PM

My characters find ALL mischief to get into. =S

6/8/2010 10:57:09 PM

Not everyone vaccinates or deworms - we worry about transmission of pathogens.

6/8/2010 10:24:13 PM

Loading is always my biggest worry.

6/8/2010 10:19:44 PM

Dehydration is the crux of keeping the horse able to cope with the overall stress.

6/8/2010 9:33:33 PM

we usually hauled straight through, lots of cushion, feed and water, steady rate and they did well

6/8/2010 8:10:29 PM

All of the above!!!

6/8/2010 7:41:19 PM

All my horses travel well, but do slack off from drinking normally.

6/8/2010 7:02:05 PM

being able to take enough of my own water until horse is accustomed to local h2o

6/8/2010 6:00:25 PM

he hates drinking on the road or away from home

6/8/2010 5:45:52 PM

Live in AZ, only travel locally, but heat/dehydration a concern

6/8/2010 5:24:46 PM

There are so many it was difficult to chose the biggest concern.

6/8/2010 5:24:25 PM

They are all major concerns!

6/8/2010 5:18:41 PM

Hard getting the horses to drink on the road or at a show.

6/8/2010 5:10:45 PM

Ulcers bother 2 of my show horses when traveling.

6/8/2010 4:39:44 PM

I don't travel very far. Just take my girl to our riding lesson. 18 mile round trip.

6/8/2010 4:18:58 PM

The ponies enjoy trailer rides and the trips are under 2 hours

6/8/2010 4:18:39 PM

Colic secondary to dehydration and stress

6/8/2010 4:15:47 PM

6/8/2010 4:10:53 PM

stress induced disease breaks such as EHV 4

6/8/2010 4:04:32 PM

specifically due to stupid drivers

6/8/2010 3:46:01 PM

Noise and heat in the trailer while traveling.

6/8/2010 3:44:58 PM

Never can tell what another driver will do

6/8/2010 3:33:26 PM

All of the above, she does not drink well away from home, does not eat well, heats up when stressed

6/8/2010 3:32:00 PM

truck breaking down, heat, storms, more!

6/8/2010 3:28:06 PM

Truck and/or trialer breakdown and being stranded. Clydes won't fit in friends trailers.

6/8/2010 3:24:17 PM

My horse is anhidrotic... overheats easily in a trailer

6/8/2010 3:20:55 PM

stress is the root of all evil

6/8/2010 3:19:14 PM

6/8/2010 3:14:49 PM

all of the above?

6/8/2010 3:06:24 PM

None really, all our horses are pretty well rounded & tend not to get stressed out causing colic or

6/8/2010 2:55:06 PM

Stress bringing on "shipping fever."

6/8/2010 2:50:34 PM

Hard to pick one, so all of the above

6/8/2010 2:29:54 PM

I actually worry about all of the above while traveling with my horses.

6/8/2010 1:57:54 PM

6/8/2010 1:16:02 PM

Especially those long, hot trips!
