One Dose
Full 12 months of safe, convenient West Nile protection
You have enough on your mind this spring without worrying about multiple vaccinations to ensure protection against West Nile virus (WNV). A two-dose WNV vaccination regimen is inconvenient and may mean more stress on your horse, including the possibility for adverse reactions. Intervet has your solution.
PreveNile West Nile Virus vaccine is the first and only one-dose WNV vaccine available for primary immunization. One-dose protection makes PreveNile the perfect choice for foals and horses with unknown vaccination history and as a booster for horses previously vaccinated with other West Nile vaccines.
Until PreveNile, veterinarians and horse owners only had one choice when it came to WNV vaccination: a two-dose regimen, administered either 3 to 6 weeks or 4 to 6 weeks apart, for primary immunization. This spring, ask for the West Nile vaccine that only requires one dose. Ask your veterinarian for safe, convenient, one-dose PreveNile.

FROM THE HORSE MAGAZINE: FENCING FOR PASTURES
What is the correct fencing for your farm? The correct answer is: it depends. It would be wonderful if there existed one type of Good Horse Fencing that we could all install and be done. While there is unacceptable fencing for horses, there is no perfect fence for all situations. Therefore, before we choose fencing for our farms, we need to be clear on the use for that fence. Once you establish your needs, features are easier to sort through. For example, if you know you will be moving a fenceline, you wouldn't sink six-inch wood posts into concrete. Continue reading...
