Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc. (BIVI) is once again asking public and private researchers studying equine infectious diseases to submit proposals for the 2016 Equine Research Awards.

“BIVI knows that the future of equine health lies in identifying new disease treatment and prevention methods, which is why we support the research awards,” said Steve Grubbs, DVM, PhD, Dipl. ACVIM, equine technical manager for BIVI. “Through this program, we are committed to helping advance the understanding, diagnosis and prevention of equine diseases.”

Proposals must address the following focus areas for consideration:

The awards will be announced during the 2016 American Association of Equine Practitioners Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida.
