Where does your horse spend most of his day–in a stall or outside? In last week’s poll, we asked our readers how often their horses are stabled. More than 2,000 people responded, and we’ve tallied the results!

Of the 2,015 respondents, 1,089 (54%) said their horses live outside with access to shelter, while 522 (26%) said their horses spend most of the day in turnout. Another 193 individuals (10%) said their horses live in a stall or a stall with a run, but receive limited daily turnout. Some 61 respondents (3%) indicated that their horses live in a stall with a run, and 32 people (2%) said their horses live in a stall only. The remaining 118 (6%) indicated their horses have other stabling arrangements.
