Texas Horse Hit and Run Driver Sought

Law enforcement authorities in Bexar County, Texas, are seeking the driver of a car who struck two horses and their riders during a hit-and-run traffic incident last week.

Bexar County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Louis Antu said that the morning of Oct. 6, two men were trailing riding along the frontage road of Interstate Highway 35 when an unknown driver apparently failed to see a stop sign and struck the two men and their horses. The driver later fled the scene, Antu siad.

No further information about the condition of the men or the animals was available, Antu said.

The incident remains under investigation, Antu said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Bexar County Sheriff's tipline at 210/335-TIPS (8477).
