Equine Guelph, the horse owners’ and care givers’ center at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, is seeking horse owner participation in a survey about colic management practices, according to a release on the organization’s website.

"Understanding the horse owners’ experiences with colic will assist in developing targeted educational programs," said Gayle Ecker, director of Equine Guelph, in the release.

The survey takes about 15-20 minutes and is available online and runs until Sept. 25.

The release noted that the results from the survey will be used to aid in developing Equine Guelph’s Colic Prevention Program, which will include a "colic risk rater and a colic prevention e-workshop (a two-week online short course)
