Multiple graded stakes winner Banned, a 3-year-old Thoroughbred colt, was euthanized Oct. 1, a week after he underwent surgery to repair fractured sesamoids in his right front fetlock.

Craig Bernick, president of Glen Hill Farm, posted the update on his personal Twitter account, where he was keeping fans informed of the latest developments.

"Heavy hearted to report that Banned didn’t make it. He ended up foundering in his good foot this morning, and we did what’s right for him," Bernick reported.
