The 2010 Kentucky International Equine Summit has entered a partnership with HorseTV to provide a live video feed of the summit over the Internet. The biennial event is slated this year for April 26-27 at the Downtown Hilton in Lexington, Ky.

The University of Louisville Equine Industry Program sponsors the summit in cooperation with the University of Kentucky Equine Initiative. The summit will feature more than 70 speakers and panelists dealing with a range of future challenges facing segments of the international and domestic horse industry.

The summit is designed to bring together industry leaders to discuss and relate common issues and try to find solutions from within the industry. The hope is that by broadcasting the summit live, it has the chance to make an even greater impact on the industry by reaching those that are unable to attend in person.

The 2010 summit takes place immediately following the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event and preceding the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks
