A tour will give enthusiasts a chance to see the horse barn the government bought to replace the one it demolished last year in a fruitless search for the body of missing Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa.


Even though Hoffa’s remains weren’t found, the Justice Department paid $160,000 to the owners of a Detroit-area horse farm to replace a barn the FBI removed.


Saturday’s third annual Barn Tour is sponsored by the Highland Equestrian Conservancy.


Owners of Hidden Dreams farm agreed to be on the fundraiser because of the nonprofit conservancy’s work to preserve land and promote the equestrian lifestyle, conservancy spokeswoman Sharon Greene told the Detroit Free Press
