Victoria Police Horse Dies At Work

A police horse at the Melbourne Cup Carnival's Derby Day Thoroughbred race meeting in Flemington, Australia, died today of a suspected heart problem while on routine duty, according to an article in The Herald Sun. The 19-year-old gelding had been a member of the Victoria police unit his entire life.
