Practical Horsemanship Clinic to be offered at AQHA World Show

AQHA Professional Horseman Curt Pate will be at the AQHA World Championship Show on Saturday, Nov. 11, to host an educational clinic. Free to the public, attendees will learn the finer aspects of practical horsemanship and how to develop a better relationship with their horses.

Proven as an equine technical advisor on the 1998 movie directed by Robert Redford, "The Horse Whisper," Pate's partnership techniques will focus on the importance of practical horsemanship to make good horse owners and good horses. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn how to work through routine issues that might be affecting your relationship with your horse.

Meet Pate prior to the clinic at the AQHA booth from 10 a.m. to noon in the Travel and Transportation building at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. Also, sign up to win tickets to that day's World Show performances.

Pate's Practical Horsemanship clinic will take place at 2 p.m. in barn seven.

The World Show will be held Nov. 4-18. Highlights from the show are just a click away. The American Quarter Horse Journal provides complete Web coverage and a live Web cast of arena action as it happens.
