Hospital Tour/Demonstration During Rolex

Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital invites guests of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event to a hospital tour and veterinary demonstration on Thursday, April 27. The demonstration and tour are free of charge courtesy of Boehringer-Ingelheim VetMedica, Fort Dodge Animal Health, Kinetic Technologies, and Pfizer Animal Health. These generous sponsors will make a donation to the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation in lieu of ticket price for attendees.

The featured demonstration on the tour are a live treadmill endoscopy. Dr. Brett Woodie will perform an endoscopic exam of a horse galloping on Rood & Riddle's high-speed treadmill. Following the treadmill demonstration, guests will move to the Podiatry Center for a presentation by an equine veterinary podiatrist on therapeutic shoes and shoeing for common foot problems.

Refreshments will be available following the demonstrations and tour.

Buses will depart the Kentucky Horse Park at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. Tours will return to the Horse Park in approximately one hour and 45 minutes. Buses will load and depart at the end of Forego Drive between the American Saddle Horse Museum and the U.S. Dressage Federation buildings in the main parking lot of the Kentucky Horse Park.
