For the second time in two years, Keeneland’s stunning landscape and picturesque setting provided the backdrop for a Hollywood movie. To celebrate the opening of Dreamer, the most recent movie filmed at the historic racecourse, Keeneland will offer several promotions inspired by the DreamWork’s film during “Dream Week.” These promotions include ticket giveaways for the Lexington premiere of the film, free admission with a theater ticket stub, and an opportunity for six lucky fans to win extraordinary dream prizes that include:


• A pair of season tickets for the 2005-2006 UK basketball season;
• Five percent ownership of a 2-year-old filly racehorse for its entire racing career, courtesy of West Point Thoroughbreds;
• A trip for two to a 2006 DreamWorks premiere, including travel courtesy of Blue Grass Airport, and accommodations courtesy of The Embassy Suites;
• VIP package to Keeneland’s 2006 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes festivities including four tickets to the Toyota Blue Grass Draw, Brunch, Press Dinner, Dining room reservation for four on Toyota Blue Grass Stakes Day and a $100 betting voucher;
• VIP package for the 2006 Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs, which includes two tickets to the day’s races, the post position draw, press party, “after the races” party, and accommodations at the Galt House in Louisville; and
• A 26″ flat-screen LCD TV courtesy of Barney Miller’s.


“Horse racing is filled with people who dream big,” said Keeneland President Nick Nicholson. “We thought it would be fun to give something back to our fans by giving them an opportunity to win a dream prize.”


During closing week Oct. 26-29, people will have one chance each day to register for one of the six prizes. If someone wants to attend the races all four days, they the will have four opportunities to register to win
