CHWild Eyed & Wicked was one of five Saddlebred horses who were injected with an unknown substance in June 2003 at a farm in Versailles, Ky., where they were boarded and trained (for archived information on the attacks, see www.TheHorse.com/sbreds). Wicked and two other horses were euthanatized after their conditions deteriorated, and they were buried at the farm. Wicked’s remains were exhumed in February as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into the horses’ deaths.
