Hagyard-Davidson-McGee Associates PLLC are hosting the International Bluegrass Equine Veterinary Symposium in Panama City, Panama, Jan. 7–10, 2004. The program, held in the Intercontinental Miramar Panama Hotel, will feature hands-on wet labs and lectures that will highlight the most recent diagnostic and treatment techniques in reproduction, ophthalmology, and lameness, as well as programs on nutrition and vaccination.

This program continues Hagyard-Davidson-McGee’s efforts to provide educational opportunities to veterinarians as well as farm owners, managers, and trainers. The firm has hosted a number of similar conferences in Lexington, Ky., dealing with critical care and equine reproduction. All have featured leading researchers and experts in every field of equine veterinary practice. The interest and response generated from those, along with the encouragement of the Association of Panama Medical Veterinarians, lead to the development of this symposium, which represents the first time the firm has provided a program of this nature outside the United States
