Equine Medical Center will host "Tuesday Talks"

The Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center in Leesburg, Virginia, will again host its winter "Tuesday Talks" lecture series. These informal lectures feature Equine Medical Center faculty, and guest speakers discussing topics of interest in equine veterinary medicine. The Equine Medical Center is one of three campuses of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.

This winter, four lectures will be offered:

December 11, 2001
The Human-Equine Bond, Dr. Marie Suthers-McCabe

January 15, 2002
Equine Laser Surgery and Therapy, Dr. Kenneth E. Sullins and Mr. Doug Fout

February 12, 2002
Foal Pneumonia: Rhodococcus Equi, Dr. Michael J. Murray

March 12, 2002
Advances in Treatment of Colic, Dr. Nathanial A. White, II

Lectures begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. in the Library at the Equine Medical Center. No fee is charged for the lectures, but seating is limited and reservations are required.
