Held June 15-18 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky., Equitana featured around 800 demonstrations and educational seminars, the Mane Event, concerts, and hundreds of booths with equine products and services. The keynote speaker was rodeo star Ty Murray (far left). Trainers such as John Lyons (below), Pat Parelli, Monty Roberts, and others gave demonstrations on improving communication and understanding of horses.


Educational seminars covered topics on EPM, massage therapy, computerized evaluation of saddle pads (left), equine viral arteritis, colic, prepurchase exams, flu vaccines, herbs and pregnancy, first aid, grooming, farriery, and much more.


The Mane Event entertained ticket holders with gymnastics, trick riding, and the Black Stallion.
