Rolex Kentucky Three-Day:America's First Four-Star Event

For the first time, America will host a Four Star Three-Day Event (CCI****) this spring. The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, organized by Equestrian Events, Inc. of Lexington, Kentucky, will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park, April 23-26, 1998.

To compliment this event, fans all over the world will have access to results via the World Wide Web. The official Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event web site will be at This site is already online and features interviews with competitors, course designers, and builders, as well as a message board, information about Event sponsorships, and more.

The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day was awarded the prestigious four-star ranking—the highest level in international equestrian eventing competition—last year, joining only two other such annual competitions in the world, the Badminton and Burghley three-day events, both in England.
