Agway, Cooperative, Inc. is pleased to announce a new venture with Kenneth J. Kopp, DVM and Nutra-Vet Equine Consulting, Ltd. Kopp will expand current customer programs and perform equine marketing and technical equine services. He will be a valuable resource for customers and will be available to answer equine health questions by phone or e-mail. Kopp will also develop equine correspondence courses, provide scientific advice at training and patron meetings, and write technical articlas for Mane Points and other publications.


“We welcome Kopp and believe his expertise will complement and add value to our equestrian program,” said David Durr, V.P. of Agway Keystone Enterprise.


Kopp earned his BS and DVM from the University of Missouri. For the past eight years, he served as manager of domestic and international horse feeds for Southern States Cooperative, Inc. His responsibilities included providing technical assistance, training sales team members, marketing, researching, and developing products. Kopp has also owned and operated his own clinic, and managed farm operations and served as resident veterinarian for Cloudcroft, Inc. Kopp is an active member of several professional equestrian associations, and is the past chairman and current agribusiness gubernatorial appointment for the Virginia Department of Agriculture Horse Industry Board.
