Blood-Horse Publications Accquires The Equine Image

The Blood-Horse, Inc. has announced the acquisition of The Equine Image magazine, a publication serving equine art enthusiasts since its founding in 1986. The magazine was acquired for an undisclosed sum from its prior owner, Heartland Communications Group of Fort Dodge, IA.

"People who love and follow horses just naturally seem to have an affinity for the artists and artwork that uniquely capture the equine world," said RayT Paulick, Executive Vice President and editorial director of The Blood-Horse Inc. "We are excited about the op-portunity to serve both communities with our publication of this outstanding magazine."

The Equine Image focuses on the artistic aspects of the horse and the equestrian life-style.
