Horse Transport Bill Reintroduced

A bill before the U.S. House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee would prohibit the use double-decker trailers for transporting horses across state lines. Specifically, HR 305, or the "Horse Transportation Safety Act of 2009," prohibits the interstate transport of horses in a motor vehicle containing two or more levels stacked on top of one another....
