Lioness retired due to problems with her ankle that racing just irritated. She raced 17 times with 3 wins. She is a Maryland bred and is a full sister to a stakes winner. She was somewhat erratic to ride as a racehorse, so a career as a broodmare would be ideal. Lioness is a regal looking mare with great ground manners and is excellent turned out with others.
