O’Connor has won numerous international riding competitions as well as the gold medal for the U.S. in the 2000 Olympic Games held in Sydney, making him only the third American to win the individual gold in an equestrian competition. He is only the second American to have won the Badminton Horse Trials. O’Connor currently sits as the president of the U.S. Equestrian Federation.

Severson rocketed into the international spotlight in 2002 by winning the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** and competing on the gold-medal-winning U.S. team at that year’s World Equestrian Games. She won the individual silver medal and led the U.S. eventing squad to a team bronze at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
