The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada’s Sierra Front Field Office has prepared a draft Pine Nut Mountains Herd Management Area Plan (HMAP). The BLM is seeking public comments on this draft plan through Jan. 22, 2017.

The Pine Nut Mountains HMA is located south of Dayton and east of Carson City, Nevada.

The HMAP is a 10-year plan for management of wild horses in the Pine Nut Mountains.
