The International Equine Conference on Laminitis and Diseases of the Foot will take place Nov. 2-3, 2012, in Monterey, Calif., at the Monterey Convention Center. Hands-on wet lab sessions will take place at Steinbeck Country Equine Hospital in Salinas, Calif.

This year’s theme is “The Equine Limb: Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics.”

The conference includes lectures and workshops for veterinarians, farriers, and allied health personnel, with more than 13 hours of continuing education available for veterinary practitioners. This year’s event also features a half-day horse owner program on Saturday covering new advancements in laminitis research, equine MRI basics, and regenerative medicine.
