Achieving prime fitness in equine athletes will be the objective of The Winning Edge: Promoting Peak Performance in the Equine Athlete, a workshop for horse owners, trainers and competitors held in conjunction with the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Hosted by Alltech, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital, the workshop will take place Friday, Sept. 24 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lexington, Ky., just one day prior to the opening of the Games.

The full-day educational program features an international roster of sport horse experts addressing issues that are important to the overall health and well being of performance horses
