The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming’s Rock Springs Wild Horse and Burro Facility will temporarily close from Nov. 2 to Dec. 30 due to facility improvements.

No public tours or adoptions will be conducted during the closure; however the public viewing kiosk will remain open.

A new office building, hay storage area, and shop improvements are among the changes to the facility.

The BLM anticipates that the work will be ongoing for approximately 60 days. The public will be updated on when the facility will reopen for scheduled tours and adoption activities
