WEG Games' Road Tour Under Way to Promote Event

The 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games' (WEG) Road Tour to promote the event launched June 25, 2013, and will continue its journey across Normandy, France, and overseas through Dec. 8.
The Games' Road Tour van serves as a welcome and entertainment hub and provides quick insight into what WEG will be like for the 1,000 champions expected to compete there Aug. 23 through Sept. 7, 2014.
Fan activities include photo opportunities with Norman, the official WEG mascot, as well as a photo booth equipped with a cowboy hat, riding hat, riding crop, and top hat. Your snapshot is yours to keep, and a copy of it will comprise a giant fresco at the heart of the 2014 Games Village.
Two interactive terminals will also provide direct access to the WEG ticketing shop, where you can purchase passes for the different equestrian events. At these same terminals, visitors can play the gamen "Norman Style," view and purchase event souvenirs from the official shop, watch a 3-D video presentation of the competition sites, and join the E-Club 2014 as well as the event's official Facebook page.
Each participant will also receive a series of scratch cards for a chance to win a host of prizes.
