Oklahoma City police are seeking those responsible for a shooting that injured a rider and a horse.

Sergeant Ashley Peters, public information officer for the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Police Department, said two men were riding their horses back from a rodeo on March 24 when a group of people riding in a dark or “dirty” red car drove by and shot at the pair.

One of the riders, Frederick Leon Jackson, was hit in the calf, while the horse ridden by Carlos Romon Miles, was shot in the upper right shoulder.

Jackson was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released, Peters said. The horse’s condition is unknown
