More than 1,100 readers of TheHorse.com responded to a poll asking, “How many nights annually do you spend in the barn with a sick or pregnant horse?

Results were as follows:

  • None: 44.88% (500)
  • 1-3: 29.44% (328)
  • 4-8: 10.95% (122)
  • 13 +: 9.69% (108)
  • 9-12: 5.03% (56)

Poll respondents were asked, “What sleeping arrangements do you have in your barn?” All comments are listed below.
