Amerigo Saddles has pledged its support for the Saddle Research Trust (SRT) International Conference, to be held at Anglia Ruskin University, in Cambridge, U.K., on Nov. 29. The Italian saddle maker joins existing sponsors World Horse Welfare, the British Equestrian Federation, and Albion Saddlemakers, showing the breadth of industry support for this ground breaking event.

The Second Saddle Research Trust International Conference will focus on applying science to horses, saddles, and riders to help improve the health and welfare of both horses and humans.

Some of the world’s top veterinarians, scientists, saddlers, and riders will explore what’s new in saddle research and the progress that has been made since the last Saddle Research Trust Conference in 2012. Speakers include Sue Dyson, MA, Vet MB, PhD, DEO, FRCVS; Hilary Clayton, BVMS, PhD, MRCVS; Olympic dressage rider Richard Davison; and more. The full list of speakers can be found at www.saddleresearchtrust.com. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion so delegates can share their own views, experiences, and concerns.

“Research and Development play an important part in Amerigo brand and product strategy, keeping us abreast of our ever-changing and advancing market," said Simon Middleton, managing director of Zebra Products Ltd., which distributes Amerigo products in the U.K. "We believe the work of the Saddle Research Trust has a valuable role, not least to ensure a continual focus on the health, welfare and performance of our horses. We are proud to sponsor the SRT Conference
