The 15th biennial World Equine Veterinary Association Congress is fast approaching. It is taking place in a very exciting city—Beijing, in the Peoples Republic of China—from April 21-23, 2018.

WEVA aims to improve the health and welfare of equids (horses, donkeys, and mules) by providing high-quality continuing education to veterinarians. In some countries, we believe we can have the greatest impact on advancing the veterinary profession and improving veterinary care by offering education opportunities to the stakeholders, as well. The video below left was made to help launch WEVA Beijing 2018 and helps explain the importance of our mission.

When WEVA Beijing 2018 launched in China in October, many Chinese groups and stakeholders, including those at the government level, were engaged and excited about this opportunity. As such, WEVA will offer a number of tracks at the Beijing Congress. This includes copious general and advanced streams for equine veterinarians, as well as sessions in which horse owners, trainers, riders, and grooms can participate and advance their passion
