Florida law enforcement authorities are hoping the public can help locate a pair of horses that went missing from their Miami-Dade County barn.

Laurie Waggoner, ranch manager for the South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, said an owner called to report that her Paso Fino gelding and Quarter Horse mare were missing from their stalls at her ranch on May 11.

“The ranch is located down a rural road and there is not much traffic back there.” she said.

Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) Public Information Officer Detective Robin Pinkard said investigators the scene discovered a fence on the property had been cut
