Researchers Evaluate Endocrinopathic Laminitis Prevalence

Endocrinopathic laminitis might be more common in horses affected by endocrine disease than once believed. Thirty-two of the 36 laminitic horses were affected by PPID or insulin resistance, indicating their laminitis was endocrinopathic in origin.
