A pair of fundraisers for the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) Foundation will bookend the social events calendar at the AAEP’s 62nd Annual Convention, Dec. 3-7 in Orlando, Florida, in what annually is the foundation’s most substantial week of fundraising.

The AAEP Foundation Benefit Golf Tournament, hosted and sponsored by Patterson Veterinary, Equine Division, will tee off Saturday, Dec. 3 at 12:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the 20th Annual AAEP Foundation Celebration, sponsored by Zoetis, will take place Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 6:00-11:00 p.m. All proceeds from these events will support the foundation’s mission to improve the welfare of the horse.

The scramble-style golf tournament will be held at Shingle Creek Golf Club, rated a 4-Star “Best Place to Play” by Golf Digest and honored as 2015 Best Golf Course in Orlando by Golf Orlando Florida. Located less than five minutes from convention hotels, the par-72 course provides a world-class setting for a memorable round of golf, with large greens, plush fairways, and an abundance of water hazards.

The entry fee is $125 per person by Nov. 1 and $150 per person from Nov. 2-18. The fee includes greens fee, cart, range balls, transportation, post-event reception, and a small donation in your name to the AAEP Foundation. Download an entry form at aaep.org/info/golf or call the AAEP Foundation at 859/233-0147 or 800/443-0177 to request an entry form
