Study Examines Post-Anesthetic Myelopathy in Horses

Researchers recently evaluated 30 cases of post-anesthetic myelopathy (PAM) in horses and found that all horses died or were euthanized within 72 hours of recovering from anesthesia. No effective PAM treatments have been identified.
