Dozens of horses are residing at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, Texas, after being evacuated from their homes ahead of predicted flooding in Harris County, Texas.

On May 28, the National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for southwest Harris County, predicting clusters of storms capable of producing heavy rainfall.

“We usually have problems along creeks and in bayous,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Chris McKinney
