International Equine Colic Research Symposium

The 12th International Equine Colic Research Symposium, hosted by the AAEP Foundation, will be held July 18-20, 2017, in Lexington, Kentucky, immediately following the AAEP’s Focus on Colic and Focus on Dentistry meetings, July 16-18. The symposium, held every three years and alternating between Europe and North America, is designed to bring together leading researchers, practitioners, residents and graduate students to share knowledge about equine colic, the leading cause of premature death in horses.
