WEVA Holds Intermediate Meetings

So far this year WEVA has held meetings in Heilan and Beijing, China; Cluj-Napoca, Romania; and Moscow, Russia.

The World Equine Veterinary Association (WEVA) promotes the health and welfare of horses and other equids through the support and provision of high-quality continuing education for veterinarians (and, sometimes, others working in the many and varied equine industries) in less economically developed countries.

Continuing education is provided by WEVA board members, who work without pay, and other equine veterinarians sponsored by WEVA or other organizations/individuals interested in philanthropy. The association aims to hold numerous intermediate meetings in various parts of the world annually; additionally, WEVA holds a biennial congress in a country that has successfully made its case for the opportunities that such an equine veterinary continuing education festival would bring to its region
